Well, as I have not had the chance to stay up to date with emerging computer hardware and such. I need some help with picking out a wireless card for my computer. Much prefer a LAN line but I also don't wanna drill and pull through the walls to lay one since I'm on the second floor of a home. Anyhow I was looking for something mid rang and would connect to a router, router is unknown but from Frontier communications. Card I'm looking at is link I don't know what band it uses far as the wireless standards. Thinking maybe G is what its using.

Edit - Just got access to the router, it does accept G,B, and N so this should work.

I use a TPLink-something or another USB adapter, works fine for now.

Although I'm gonna change to something like the TPLink AV500 adapters.  They plug into wall sockets and use existing wiring in your home to get you a wired connection.

I just bought this thing, hopefully it'll work.

thought about using a USB adapter but wasn't sure about the reliability.

I thought this was going to be a thread about Jacqueline Lawson E-Mail Cards.

I've had three USB wireless adapters...one with an antenna, two without.

All are pretty reliable.  The one with the antenna has a slightly better range.
