I need some help everyone. I have no idea why, but my laptop/Kindle Fire/Cell phone can no longer connect to my wireless router. I tried going through the easy install steps and couldn't solve it. I tried contacting Cisco and they wanted like 29.99 to help me. I am hoping you guys might be able to. It is a WRT300N router. My Fire and Phone both recognize my network, show it as locked (which it should be) but none of my devices are able to connect.
Can anyone walk me through this problem? |

Quoted: did you accidentally turn on MAC filtering? when you attempt to connect, do you get any error messages? First I'd reboot as stated above from the modem to the router and any devices you're trying to connect to it. If that didn't work I would log into it via a wired connection and check the wireless password. It's possible someone has changed it. If that doesn't do it, default the router and set it up again. Make sure you know your PPPoE password if you're on DSL. |
