Looking for a good camera system for my property. Would like to have 6-8 wireless cameras and ability to view on ipad or iphone. budget 700-1000 bucks. Thanks

Yeah I think your in the 2-3 camera range.

I have some cheap d-link cameras that work some of the time and wouldn't advise so I am just here to pick up some good ideas

If you are looking for good quality outdoor cameras 2 to 3 is in that price range. Indoor you may be able to push 4 or 5 of mid quality. If you don't mind lower end quality you can setup 8 cameras within your price range.
