On TBS right now.

Why does the Scarecrow not just shoot some of the flying monkeys?  That is what revolvers are for.

He was hoping to fuck the witch. If he killed her pets it would.....decrease his chances.

That's MY take.

If I were the scarecrow I would of hit Dorothy like a screen door in a hurricane, even if I didn't have a brain!

Wouldn't that be a straw purchase?

Oh, nevermind.

????

It was always a color movie.  Are you referring to only having a B&W television set or something?

First part and last part of the movie IS in black and white.  And BTW the Scarecrow is armed in the flying monkey scene.  Why no gunfire?

The black and white parts are when she is in Kansas.  When she is in Oz it is in color.

I watched it tonight with my wife.

The scene when the Lion jumps out of the creepy forest, and starts to fuck with Dorothy, Scarecrow and the Tin-Man, I asked my wife why didn't the Tin-Man simply split the Lions skull with his Axe?

We do the Dark Side of Oz probably once a year. It's still kinda freaky every time we do it.

The scarecrow didn't have the brains to use the gun and the Tin man didn't have the heart to use his ax.
