[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Wool shirts

I've usually just worn regular cotton button-down work shirts but I'm taking an interest in broadening my horizons.

I'd like a couple of nice quality wool shirts...looking for reasonable cost, durable and comfortable.

Must be machine or hand wash...do not want dry clean only.

What doth the hive recommend?

Smartwool.

I also really like bamboo shirts. Nice and soft.

I have smartwool and icebreaker. I LOVE wool clothing.

Pendleton and Woolrich have some washable wool shirts you might be into. May want to give Filson a shot too, they've got good stuff (even a merino wool t-shirt that's machine washable).
