How sick do you need to be to not workout?
I've been sick twice this winter and each time its been a sinus/throat deal. 1st one I ended up with Abx. This time I don't think I need any and I'm getting better slowly. But I haven't worked out in a few weeks because of it. I want to get back on it but don't want to prolong the cold or make it worse as I've done in the past... I fucking hate being sick! |

Low-intensity exercise is actually an immune booster. Go for a walk, easy run, or bike ride. Maybe some light calesthenics. Yeah, I've done a little hiking but nothing intense. I am just trying to finish up that damn Warning Order but keep getting bogged down with the illness. |

I have the best cure for being sick if your interested...
Any breathing issues {lung, sinus releated,} you should take it easy, brush your teeth after every meal, and mouthwash a lot, wear a hat and warm socks even in the house, drink only ice cold water and hot tea with lemon juice http://www.teavana.com/the-teas/teas-by-flavor/straight-teas?SC=PPCG&cm_mmc=Google-_-PPC_search-_-Best_Tea-_-best%20tea&9gtype=search&9gkw=best%20tea&9gad=9085923035.1&9gpla=&9gag=1830849515&gclid=CKfooL-12q0CFcfe4Aod_Wwbmw, a nice clear tea works well like an oolong or gyokoro, and for exercise yoga, breathing, stretching, and walking are best.. You can eat what ever you want, but portabella mushrooms, honey, cabbage, garlic and oats should be included, no milk or meats... When we got married my wife was skeptical, until we both got sick after visiting her aunt in the hospital, as did everyone else who visited her that day... I made the teas, and showed her what to do, 1 day and we were back to work, her other family members were sick for over 2 weeks... I have had a lot of people try it and its worked everytime, my uncle taught me, he learned it in asia {lifetime Marine} Good luck get well.. |
