At my old gym, I always enjoyed being the one powerlifter blasting decidedly un-"powerlifty" music like Pearl Jam, The Smashing Pumpkins, or worse, 80's stuff like Jesus & Mary chain. Got plenty of funny looks and would turn it off when asked, but the one time I got called out for listening to what the guy called "fag music," I told him he could give me shit when he could lift more than me.
