Is it me or does it seem that the whole world heading for some crazy disaster? For example: Credit fears in the US and in Britain the worst in decades. We are probably in a recession with talking heads on TV and Radio saying the next great depression is coming. China keeps getting stronger and strong and our industrial bases seems to be fading away and our infrastructure fades and rusts away. The euro is becoming the new dollar and our dollar seems to be heading for worthless paper status. Either a black panther racist or a crook, both of whom are closet communists, appear destined to become our next president. All newspapers and television stations are determined that either one of these dangerous fools will be our next president. The GOP who seems to have turned its back on conservatives seems destined to foist a well known liberal as their presidential candidate. The GOP will probably loose more seats in congress and the senate meaning more AWB legislation guised as reasonable regulation of firearms, no matter what happens with the Heller case. Universal health care will be pushed down on us with the same ruinous concequences that have occured in england. Europe seems to be going like lemmings into an EU dictatorship even before it enters into dimmitude and ceases to be part of western civilization. Our churches seemed to be filled with pedophiles and openly gay people who wish to serve as our ministers. A whole segment of our population believe that we americans are the root of all evil and that no other evil exists in this world, no matter how obvious facts to the contrary may appear. Many of these same fools scream global warming while we are more likely to be heading to another mini ice age. Our children are taught that the founding fathers were honky slave holder "persons" who spoke of freedom for themselves while enslaving others and other horrible mistruths. While we grow poorer, those who wish the threaten us grow richer and richer at our expense. Did I miss anything???? Am I a tinfoil hat guy? Should I bury or sell my ammo and smoke poles before the IRS and ATF guy comes to get me? Should I take a pill and shut up and obay? |
| Nope. The world has always been nuts. You just didn't get all that bad news is so many ways. 24-hour TV news, 10+ news channels, financial channels, the Internet, newspapers, etc. Spend two weeks out in the woods, or turn-off the bad news spigots, and things will seem normal again. |

GD keeps me more scared then any of the teevee channels. |
