Yes. But I would probably cut way back on my number of posts.

I recently put a couple posts into the most appropriate (non GD) portions of Arf, and not much happened.
I bet it would run a couple pages and turn up some good info if I asked in GD.

I’d hang around to see what happened, but closing GD would be like a bar that only ran table service.

With out GD the country would have high inflation and crime.Where else would the rich go for dating and financial advice.

Obviously, the site is a great technical resource.  But GD is the beer and food of this social gathering.  I'd be on here a lot less and have virtually zero posts, since I have no expertise/information worth sharing.

Without GD, Arfcom would be like a nerd book club where all they read are technical journals.

As long as you can put up with a little bullshit and aren't a crybaby if people are mean to you, GD is a great place for gun threads. Yeah, you have to sift through some crap, but there's usually some nuggets in GD gun threads.

I joined the old board in Oct '99, ask some questions and built an ar15. I read the tech forum.on the new board but didn't sign up until I had some questions on the next build. Until '03 I didn't know GD existed. Then I found GD and not coincidentally became a paying member that year. I have all the ar15s I need now though and will never buy or build another. GD is the only reason I'm here and without it I'd never log in again much less pay.

I know of several boards that failed quickly after they eliminated banter similar to GD.

I would not keep coming here regularly if GD was eliminated, because GD would be gone.  I would stick around for the other general forums and the tech forums.  There is more to ARF than just GD.

Here, is GD.
If its Eliminated, then we can't really come here. so no.

If you mean the site as a whole then yes.

Yes. "my board" has lots of sub forums that have great content. I would simply increase my visitation of Team, for example, or the military subs. I should probably do that anyway and reduce my views of GD.

Maybe.  I've been using the Beretta handgun forum a lot, and the EE of course.

I would just switch over to the Esstac industry forum and hang out with Sylvan.

The tech forums are handy on occasion.

The sub forums have their place.

But I’d never be around daily if it wasn’t for GD.

Truth is if I was banned from GD, I'd log out and read it anyway.
If GD was gone? I wouldn't bother coming back.
