RUN AWAY! $475 is more like it. You can get them cheaper than that, depending on avaailability(I'm not sure how high the demand is for OD frames- I know the bi-tone models are harder to get, so they fetch a higher price) But, in short, $575 is a pretty horrid price. |
grip, trigger, cost, no unplanned explosions. whats not to love. no it's not the end all be all of guns, but niether is glock. it IS an excellent firearm for the money. |

My XD-45 service model was $540 out the door, and that price is pretty high. The MSRP for the black and OD models of the XD-40 is the same, set at $536. You shouldn't be paying more than $475 out the door for one. Find another gun store or try to work the price down to where it should be. ETA: Did the XD-40 come equipped with night sights? That changes things a little. |
