Yeah mine is fucking crazy. I actually like my in laws however.
Edit: My brother, sister and I all live in the same town which is about 2 hours away from our hometown. I have one kid and my sister has three and my brother has none. I volunteer to host brunch at my house again this year and my mother and brother said I was selfish because I would not drive 2 hours the day after Christmas to celebrate at my mothers house. It would be much easier for her to get in the car and drive up and enjoy Christmas here but she is stubborn. So she sat at home by herself and pouted instead of enjoying the time with us. She(my mother) told me that last year when she did join us here was one of the worst days of her life and she hated the fact that my 6 month old did not know who the presents he was getting were from. What a fucking narcissist... This mostly stems from my parents divorce 22 years ago. My sister and I still have a relationship with our father but my brother doesn't. My mother literally can't be in the same state my father is in. She found out he visited us and his grand kids two weeks ago and now is giving us the "her way or the highway". |

I'm in the same boat as some of you, In-laws have been here for two weeks.
They will be here till the end of the year.  
FIL is a really great guy, MIL just gets everybody upset, very loud, ask all kinds of crazy questions. She is 69 and can't do a thing for herself, extreme obese, bad knees, shoulder, ask someone to do everything for her. Never has tried to get the weight off, life has caught up to her now. I could go on and on.
