Trying to help a friend that had another friend replace their
hardrive. Will attempt to start in safe mode when I can get it that far then goes to a screen with the pentium logo. Then freezes. Any idea? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
| Is there anything on the hard drive that needs to be saved? If not, just reload XP. If you need to get some files off the hard drive, try http://www.knoppix.net/ . Hard to troubleshoot it without more info/type/alarms/falsing lights...etc. Good luck! |
