OK the issue is resolved! I think it would have sorted itself out even if I had done nothing... but I re-uploaded the video ...twice ... and now it works fine. So now you can access the video, in order, from the YouTube channel
https://www.youtube.com/user/sitspeak ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Is anyone familiar enough with video manager to offer insights? By the way this is not a money making ploy ... the videos are not monetized in any way and there are no sponsors (although initially I had delusions of sponsorship and made up some sample "sponsor messages") So there is no money involved except that I pay the expenses of the participants and buy lunch. We just do the series for fun. And it is Fun ...we talk to animals and they talk back! That being said, I have some tech problems.... About the time of the last Firefox update, I became unable to log in to the YouTube channel video manager. Not a big problem, I have been able to access the video manager by using Chrome. This week, I switched the new episode from "unlisted" to "public" and expected the new episode to appear on the channel just like all the others ... no joy ... tried it again and the dates became mixed up and out of order and I am still unable to sort out the issue. Link to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/sitspeak Link to new episode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zNqGkRWBZg Right now the latest episode on the channel is the Halloween episode (my favorite so far) does anyone have any ideas as how to resolve this? ... |

Vids will be sorted by upload date, not by the date you made them public. The channel page feeds uploaded public vids. You can create a playlist to put them all in order for viewers. Yes, that is how it is supposed to work, and has until last Wednesday. For some reason it insists that October 15 is before October 7 and gets stuck there. I will upload it again and see if that will work... and then do the same with the next episode (to keep them in sequential order) Thanks! |
