So ad-block has seemingly kept YouTube commercials from me for the last couple of years, but now I'm seeing them.
I don't mind watching a 15-30 second add, pay to play and all that, but some of them (especially the NRA ones) are obnoxiously long. |

For any of the ads longer than 15-30 seconds you should get a Skip Ad link after about 5 seconds. I do see a the long NRA ads on a regular basis but I can always skip through them. |

I disabled all the html5 video extensions to force flash. Adblock still blocks those ads. I'll re-enable html5 when adblocking tech catches up.
https://www.youtube.com/html5 Only HTMLVideoElement is checked off for me, haven't figured out how to disable that yet. This will break other websites though that now refuse to use flash. Just a heads up. |
