Anyone know if there's a way to save a YouTube video?

A massive public outcry against Viacom and boycott of their programs may work......

Use FireFox, and look up their extensions.  Video downloader.  You'll also need an FLV player.  You can get a version of video downloader for Opera, but it doesn't always work unfortunately.

VDownloader down loads & saves youtube/google video & converts it to AVI; its freeware too.

Will any of these allow the downloaded AVI to be moved from one computer to another or copied to CD?

I've used Vixi.net’s FLV Online Converter, but when I try to move the downloaded AVI to one of my other computers all I get is the audio and an error message about not being able to find a "codex?"
