If I had more money than I know what to do with, high end single malt scotch.

Bourbon is cheap, but I still choose scotch.

The all time value leader.  Nothing smoother per dollar x abv under the sun.  I just wish it wasn't so heavy on the bitter oak or I'd have trouble ordering anything else ever... except...

That said, my favorite whisky is Lagavulin 16, most likely because I've never tried an older Lagavulin.  The word that best describes it is, complete.

Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

I hit the wrong button in the vote  with Tennesee...no, thanks.
Canadian whisky makes me ill.

Single Malt Scotch...MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm.  Have a couple favorites there, and some I've yet to be able to afford.  Someday...

Favorite?  Glenlivet 21yo.
Bought the most of? The Dalmore 12yo.

I mainly stick to Single malt Scotch but I have a few Bourbons.
5-6 bottles added since this photo a month or so ago.

Bourbon for me. I'm still new to whiskeys, but so far Bulleit is my favorite. I recently bought a bottle of Evan Williams No 10 Small Batch, and it has to be the worst thing I've tried in my life. I really want to try some good Scotch when I get a chance.

There's a new kid in town.
If you like Scotch in the Glengoyne tradition and you aren't afraid to break tradition simply for tradition's sake, then you should try "Pure Malt" distilled and bottled right here in beautiful Bozeman, Montana by the Roughstock Distillery.  It's really quite good!

Yup.    Its good.    Still prefer the Blantons, but the Bulleit is pretty tasty.
Made room for more bourbon so I might pick up a couple more in the future.

Bourbon.

I always have good old Beam on hand to mix with coke. And Bulleit, Maker's, Booker's, along those lines for when I want to sip.

Always have a little selection of a lot of things though. Gin, vodka, tequila, rum.

I generally only buy single malts when I'm in the mood for a good scotch and I tend to drain those bottles within a week..

I work 14 days on, 7 off.   24 hour call for two weeks straight.   One beer in those 14 days and I am fired.

That makes it easy to stay sober.

I like it a lot. Though I cut it with regular Crown, it's rather potent in the flavor department.
