Jefferson county alabama is activating for a zombie outbreak in fultondale. deploying friday night.

i have a head count of 15 commandoes lined up so far. the event we are hitting is expecting 3-400 zombies in attendance.
we are loading up in my suburban and a buddies duece and getting a police escort from the city lines to the event where we will offload and assualt the club like the hard charging printer repairmen we are. much beer will be drunk and many zombies slain. pics to follow after friday. |

dang, got my hopes all up and shit. it's late, or rather early and i pulled an extra half shift tonight and got home cliked on arfcom saw this thread, and though someone was starting up ZEADS again and getting the band back together...  
on a side note, supposedly there is a zombie walk in town on saturday... i don't know wether to dress up to walk or dress up to shoot  (joke)...
walk i guess, shooting will just get me jailed if i try to get in any zombie killing prior to actual reanimated corpses in the streets... i don't think the woody harelson "i thought they were real zombies!" defense, would work out real well for me... http://www.zombiewalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=6332 K. |

K. I've always wanted to get a ZRT together for one of these walks, they normally post the route,, down Main St. left on Broadway etc. Get down the road, around a turn out of sight, and be standing in the middle of the road in a defensive formation, try to recruit locals to join in beside you with pitchforks, shovels, bats, tire irons etc. Just to see what the zombie folks do when they come face to face. I think that would be a great photo op.. hilarity ensues.

well, ZRT Bama stormed the bar and was promptly eaten. should have some pics up soon as i can get them from the promoters.
when we hit the front door with 12 people the zombies in the bar about shit themselves 
we charged in and about 20 seconds later they reacted. It was funny as hell. we had folks getting tossed on the floor up on the walls and everything. Other than having my team eaten and or infected i'd say it was a success.

i didn't go to the walk at all...
turns out if you are getting married you "may" be expected to help with filling out and stuffing the damned invitations... it's the suck! first really pretty weekend day off from work in quite a while(i work a messed up shedule at my newish job) and i get stuck inside at the inlaws house doing secretarial work. i kinda flet like a zombie and wished someone would have shot me in the head... dang, you'd think all the time i'm going to have to put in to make back the savings(came from mine, not ours) i spent on the engagement ring(not to mention the bands we have to pick up on my next day off) would have been a good arguement to let me have the day off...  i am in need of a mental health and guys day out day...
