sorry to be the voice of dissent but FWIW I forgive him. many here will never forgive him no matter what Many more want to bandwagon on him because he is an easy target He got well and thoroughly trounced following his stupid statements. He has done what I wanted to see him do. This is my opinion and no, I am not telling you what to do or how to feel. |

Zumbo is the same guy now as he was then, don't be fooled by his "new found support" for black rifles, he STILL feels the same way, you don't change your feelings simply because someone else TELLS YOU TO, he's playing nice because of MONEY, for Zumbo, there is no other reason. |

People don't understand something: Forgiveness doesn't mean the consequences of his actions go away. I hold no ill will towards the man. That's 'forgiveness'. But I don't trust him. Actions, such as his, have consequences. He shouldn't expect his career back so soon. |

You don't make your living in the firearms industry and purposely piss off a large portion of that industry unless your head got VERY INFLATED by your own bullshit!!! Zumbo spoke his version of the truth...........Zumbo got spanked. Do I believe Zumbo "saw the light"?.............  Zumbo's "I'm sorry" was simply damage control to his career.

He said that AR15's were evil because they are not used for sport. He didn't regret what he said; he only regretted the shitstorm that hit him in the face. His "retraction" was, in essence, "I was wrong; they do have sporting purpose." His ignorance has not been cured. He still has no clue that the rights to keep and bear arms are not about hunting or target shooting. This is precisely the time for gun owners to divide this piece of pollution from decent society. Exactly right. It's very clear that he STILL only connects the 2nd Amendment's *observance* of our God-given RIGHT to bear arms with the suitability to hunting. He simply does NOT get that the 2nd Amendment is about killing politicians and criminals (but I repeat myself). It isn't about hunting Bambi. We've gotten FAR too politically correct that people recoil in horror when the truth (as in what I wrote above) is spoken. That's dangerous. Words have meanings, and when we distort or obscure those meanings, then rights are lost and injustices become commonplace. -Troy |

A statement very similar to the one in red was made by Senator Thomas Dodd, the author of the 1968 Gun Control Act. I believe his words were "The Second Amendment is not about hunting ducks and leaving Huey, Dewey, and Louie without an uncle. It's about hunting politicians.". The gun banners know exactly what they're doing. Is Zumbo forgiven? No. He used a lifetime's worth of dumbass allotment in just a few seconds, in front of millions of people. His words have already been used against gun owners, and will continue to be used against gun owners in the future. I bet he still doesn't own a "terrorist rifle".

See, that's exactly what our masters... uhh, I mean our politicians... think of us. They figure the american people have a memory about as short as a gnat's penis. - Unfortunately, for a lot of people, that seems to be true. Apparently, many people have an attention span measured in minutes and they can't remember the ass fucking they took 6 months ago, much less the ones from 10 and 20 years ago. Pretty sad. Oh... and... FUCK ZUMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
