Not to mention I suspect most cause a malfunction that allows the gun to fire FA. Thus gun is "broken" in that once "converted" those parts can never function properly again. Thus u'd be stuck a highly illeagal half assed full auto forever (unless you got new parts), which may not be long since the feds would be over your house paying a vist...its stupid, if you want FA that damned bad fill out the paper work and get the class 3 ETA: IBTL

well what was said earlier is the truth buy books read them and dont do them ever ever ever and dont talk about it on ARFCOM we dont want that kind of attention here as we all want to obey every NFA law out there. |

Lighten up folks. He's asking a legit question and he has a good reason. It's not simple to safely convert any semi auto to full auto. Speaking of ARs, there are none sold today that would even work with a drop in sear and most would need at least new bolt carrier to work with a link.
