Well, if things go as planned, then I'll get to hold my new son in the (latter end of) next 6 weeks.  I get to name a human being and introduce him to a wonderful, albeit sometimes nuts, world.  Also during this time I plan on taking my 7 yr old shooting a few more times, but that's not as cool as seeing my new boy.

I will go through approximately 600 rounds of 12 gauge bird shot as well as (hopefully) an exactly equal number of clays.

I will then spend a week with the Boy Scouts at Summer Camp going through approximately 1500 more rounds/clays, teaching the next generation how to safely and accurately use a shotgun, the rules of firearm safety, how to clear, clean and service their shotguns and (with any sort of luck) showing them what fun it can be to shoot as a sport/means of provenance.

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about this, i.e. being able to share my love of firearms/hunting.

Try and convince at least 1 more Obama voter that they made a huge mistake. I've managed to convert 2 at my office in the first 100 days

Gardening like an SOB.  I got enough beets growing to keep me pissing red till the commies come home.

For anyone who missed that, the Ruskies make Borscht from beets- and eat a lot of it.
