Already in another thread, but here it is again.

Highway 290 North (not moving - creeping at best). Notice the Inbound lanes.





Notice the people getting out of their cars (because it's not moving & it's close to 100 F here).



No gas anywhere within at least 100 Miles



People just camping out trying to stay cool

I live 90 miles from Houston & couldn't get milk for my 7 yr old this morning on my way home from work.

By a supermarket shopping strip. They ran out of gas. Some of them have been on the road for 12-20 hours in stop & go traffic. Driving like that kills your gas mileage & not having any gas stations open within a 150 mile radius will strand people.
