OMG!  Do You think it was a PHOTOSHOP!?  In a magazine!?  OH THE HORROR... OH JEEBUS!

Edit - it was probably a fake stop for the photo anyway.

So it means someone put it the for effect. Small things like that can be used for association in the future.

I'm more amused that they have a "No silly gadgets" article in there.  They know they're talking to cops don't they?

I know the feeling.

Whenever I see the family portrait with a dog.. I focus only on the dog.

I think someone edited the plate to look blurry as well...  they are obviously hiding something.

With the title of this thread I figure it'd be a picture of the family dog on there.

I thought it was interesting that they went out of their way to have the minivan scream "gun owner inside!"  Out of all the traffic stop shoot out videos I've watched, none ever had a gun related sticker on any of the vehicles.  They're subtlely conditioning officers to believe gun owner are some of the bad guys.

Pretty sure they're telling cops to pay attention to every vehicle and look for "tells".  Just because you're making a stop on a minivan with an obvious car seat, it doesn't mean that the guy driving can't be dangerous.  Look for the little things, gun stickers, behavior....You know, clues.

Most likely it's the editors car and an authors police car and the editor likes AKs.

Just a guess.

Yeah, the two officers in West Memphis pulled over a white minivan.

Riiiiiight.

Because sovereign citizens (one of the biggest local threats to LE recently) absolutely hate guns and eschew any form of such decorations.

Hell, we've got a local SC with a "GOT AMMO?" sticker on the back window of his creeper van. Most of have realized from casual interactions with the guy that he's a SC and we are going to have problems with him. I, for one, appreciate that he's going out of his way to let me know ahead of time that he's very likely to be armed.

Probably to avoid the problem we're having in this thread.

Minivans don't need to be digitally manipulated to look more evil. Everybody knows that.
