................................ I'm going to assume all these attacks happened in places that getting a CCW is almost impossible right?

Bingo!!!   If you wanted protection you should have come prepared to protect yourself.  I'm not trained to get in the middle of your domestic dispute.

If everybody was carrying a gun and qualified to use it then they wouldn't need the good samitans to come to their ad.

Only the state propaganda would look at those situations and ask "where is the one good Samaritan?" when completely ignoring the 5 bad Samaritans.

If I'm going about my daily business, and suddenly see two people fighting and rolling around like in the video of the transit driver, why the hell am I going to get involved? Other people's fights are not my business.
Now if someone is assaulting a women, child, or elderly person that's a different story.

There's a fine line between not helping a true victim, and getting involved in someone else's fight.

i wouldn't blanketly good samaritan.

i would have to make a judgment based on my assessment of who caused the situation, what is the harm vs. benefits of intervening, etc.

and yes most of it is based on how you look....

and i am less likely to intervene when "packin", because it increases the likelihood of me having to use it.

Oddly enough, the only time I've really almost shot somebody was because I accidentally walked into a domestic.

Yup, my CCW is for me and MY family.

The only exception I might make in intervening is a child abduction so something. Other than that, fuck them, I'll call 911 and be on my way. If another adult is not going to take the responsibly to carry and defend themselves or their family then they are SOL till the police arrive.
