Despite the fact today is supposed to be for all that have served... ever... I hold you guys in uniform today in a special place in my heart.
You guys, who didn't join for the GI Bill... or some silly job until you got your head screwed on straight... enlisting when it is "an unpopular war"... You guys joined with a full on fight happening. Knowing that you probably would end up in harm's way, you still rose to the challenge. Regardless of whether you are a trigger puller or a 'petroleum transfer specialist', or a supply guy... every one of you is a man worthy of a glass raised. (except those f'ing officers.... Here is to you!
You guys keep my kids and wife safe, doing what you do. Every time you do it. Every day you do it. Thank you so very much for putting that uniform on tomorrow. I am no longer allowed to speak for an entire country, due to .... well never mind... but thanks from me. And pretty much the rest of North America, and some of Europe. You guys are my real life hero's! |

My Boss came to me today at 3 pm and said that it was odd that the kids are out of school and I am at work. The rest of the guys looked at him like a shit sandwich and he came back a few minutes later and gave me Thursday and Friday off with pay. I am the only Vet that works there |

The reason that I post this is not for those who have 'been there, done that"...
I post this for those who are "been there... still there"... Despite your MOS... (this guy doesn't care if you were a 'rank stitcher').... Thank you for what you do for me! I , the ranger, appreciate you!. |
Thanks to all........
