I'm looking for something that is like a disc sander but is designed for metal working.  Here is a link to a disc sander that Craftsman makes.  Can you outfit these things with metal grinding discs?  Thanks for the help.

For grinding metal?  As in maybe grinding welds n stuff?  I would recommend NOT getting Craftsmen stuff then.   Go for a Makita, or a DeWalt grinder.   Craftsmen stuff is Ok, but not as strong or lasting as others.   I have had a variable speed DeWalt Grinder for 7 years now, and never had a problem with it.   It cost me $350, but it was well worth it.

I was just showing the Craftsman as an example.  I need something that I can use to square edges.

I use my belt sander laid on it's side and clamped to my bench. I don't know how much grinding you want to do but I've sharpened many chisels (among other metalworking tasks) with a belt sander.

It's going to be for pretty serious grinding.
