What can be applied to an ailing oak tree to kill the misiltoe parasite growing on it and borer insects to save the oak tree?

Bayer® has a product that I saw advertised on TV this afternoon. It is a systemic medication applied at the roots.

That`s Bayer tree and shrub insect control. I have tried that and hasn`t worked , or I haven`t used enough of it on the tree. No affect on the misletoe parasite growing on the tree. Thanks tho`.

I'm sorry, you need to consult with Dr. Stihl

Unfortunately probably correct.
If it is close to the house get someone who knows to look at the tree to see if it is safe.

Do you have a town/city/county arborist or a state garden center hotline? Call them or call a certified arborist.

Is misiltoe bad for a tree? I have seen some trees with huge amounts of the stuff on them and they seemed healthy enough.
