i found some ss109 for 990 rounds was 259.99 is this good ammo. it says 223 remington and that it has the steel core in it but is not painted green tips. i just need a good defense/range ammo. and i wany iy as cheap as i can get for decent ammo. what should i do?

The first thing you should do is go back to elementary school and learn how to form a proper sentence.



What brand is this ammo? SS109 describes the projectile, M855 is usually used to describe a loaded cartridge. You'll lose a couple hundred feet per second going from 5.56 NATO ammo to .223 Remington.
