Idk about everyone else but Droid Incredible's got a new update for GB.  It went from 4.06 to 4.08.

Got it last week for my Epic.  It seems to run quite a bit faster and the battery life seems a tad bit better.  Other than that and a few asthetic differences, I haven't noticed much of a difference.

I dunno. My software update say "No update for you!", so I guess I'd have to say "none."

Works just as well as it did yesterday, which is pretty rockin'!

Phone (Evo 3D) wouldn't take the update, kept restarting like it normally does for an update, but never accepted the update. I said F it and rooted (HTC's method) TWRP recovery and stock rom. DL Setcpu, wifi tether, and quickboot so far. I love root!!!!

At first I didn't want to go through the trouble of doing that to my phone.  Eventually I had to do something because the performance went to shit.  Every update just made things worse.  Putting Cyanogen on my old Motorola Droid brought it back to life.

Still waiting on T-Mobile to get 2.3 out for the original Galaxy/Vibrant.

I've given up trying to root this phone.  Just like anything linux based, it is so overly complex and 'unique' that it takes all the fun out of fiddling with it.

I used CM7 for a while, I've been using MIUI for the last month on my DInc2.

Tmo has given up on the Vibrant, so the only hope is to root & install cyanogen.

Sadly I've had a harder time trying to install cyanogen on my phone than I did with my G1.

Droid X- Corrupted my SD card... had to wipe it clean. Which normally would not have been a problem but with me getting the "sd card damaged" error, My computer would not read the card to pull everything over.

Do you have a Vibrant?  I have tried many approaches to rooting it, and have been unsuccessful.  It seems even the 'community' has moved on from it, all the root files I find are old, and not working anymore.  It appears the only way to root it is to flash it back to 2.1 and use those tools.  However, with my luck so far, I don't want to flash it back just to find those rootkits are just as old and unusable as the 2.2 ones are.  Very Frustrating experience.

Back up your apps/settings, then try a data wipe/factory reset.

Verizon pushed GB onto my stock Thunderbolt a few weeks ago.  While never being terribly reliable before, after the update, the phone wouldn't connect to play music on my stereo.

That was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Rooted it.  It took mush less than an hour.

Battery life is much better, even though I'm running at like 1.8ghz. Perfectly.

I'll say it again- with a Cyanogen ROM, everything works PERFECTLY.  No lag. No crashes.

I'm a little pissed I had to hack my phone to get it to work properly.

Post specifics. Updates vary by carrier and phone model. Verizon may put out an update that Sprint doesn't, for example.

Asking if someone has the new Android update is like asking someone what they think of that new car with the internal combustion engine.

They've gotten ICS and already gotten it to load on the Inc.  It's about 2-3 months away from a working ROM but fuck, they're fast at developing that shit.
