I knew if I posted else where it would turn into a shit show... I have been carrying a Sig P320 in one form or another off and on for the past 5-6 years... OWB leather holster, one in the chamber no manual safety and have had zero issues. as a matter of fact I benched my 1911 and went back to my X-compact for my winter carry just recently. I watch all these videos with guys sticking screws and all kinds of crap in the trigger to get it to "fire"...WTF???? you thing in the holster something is finger fucking the trigger? if so maybe a new holster .....I have personally whacked the hell out of my pistol from the top, back, bottom, front and the striker did not fall. I have owned the 320 since it was released and even with the pre recall trigger setup never had an issue. I'm not a Sig fanboy, but I think the hate and mistrust is undue. Due to all the hate and stuff i recently picked up a X-full with Romeo-X, magwell and 10 legion mags for $450... go ahead and sell... I'll buy. |

None of the other guys had issues before the shake awake feature activated itself either. |

Any day now, maybe 2 weeks from now, there may be 100 percent confirmed repeatability of an issue. It has only been a couple of years with lots of folks trying to prove an issue exists, but all we have learned definitively is that assembling a 320 improperly can cause issues, using incorrect parts can cause issues, and if the trigger is pulled far enough the pistol can fire by being jostled due to the slide/frame slop inherent in ALL striker fired handguns. Everything else is just conjecture, at this point. |
| I used to carry my m18 all the time. The small grip module fits my hand way better than anything else. I used the manual safety. I stopped carrying it because I went back to Glocks. It had nothing to do with all the alleged issues. I just have a lot more gear setup for Glocks and I’m trying to streamline my pistols more. I have been meaning to start using it as my bedside pistol though. My other p320 got turned into a flux raider which is one of my favorite guns of all time. |

| I view these guns the same way I view the Takata air bag. The likelihood of getting one that goes off at a bad time is very low, but not impossible. I know it’s a separate issue that’s been “fixed” already, but I stopped taking the P320 seriously when the initial drop firing problem surfaced. The fact that Sig’s engineers couldn’t be bothered to confirm whether or not their new product was consistently drop safe before releasing it to the public and entering it in military trials is very telling about what kind of company they are. |

Very accurate. Double taps are silly soft & easy I actually AIWB carried it before reading of all the discharges. Won’t be doing that any more

I bought one of the early 320s, before they were discovered to not be drop safe. I'm generally skeptical of product liability claims, but there are too many videos of 320s firing in holsters for me to discount the issue. I was also wary due to Sig originally issuing them not drop safe and then claiming that they were. too bad as it has a nice trigger and came with good sights (unlike most Glocks). The modular trigger seemed cool. Mine is a 45, which I think Sig abandoned |
