I just posted these in a response to another thread in the home security forum.

Putting here for wider distribution.  Anyone have any experience with these or opinions of them in general?  Might not be a bad idea to have these around the house.

I would be careful where I put one in the kitchen because of the low temp. rating. A 200 degree sprinkler head would be better. email the guys and ask them what brand of sprinkler head and the model number they are using. You can P.M. me and I will tell you all the specifics about it.  Also  where you are planning on putting these things?

I'm not sure if I would get the wall mounted one. That pendant head on it is not designed for being less than 6 inches from a wall. It really needs some sort of sidewall on it.

If the temp rating is nice this could be a good idea for a boiler room.  On another note NYC has just put fire regulations in that require all remodeled homes and all new homes (even single family) on streets of less then 38 feet in width to have a full sprinkler throughout the house.
