met a guy who is retired airline pilot and flew military before that. His name is Kenny Klimes. Wonder if there is a way to learn what his military call sign was?

| Nope, not an official or near complete one anyway. Callsigms can be earned or given at many different times in a career, the best you might find is one unit's records. Here is one small database, but it is only F-16s, is user created, and doesn't appear to give names, only explanations. Your best bet would be to find someone who was in the same unit as him. |
