The picture shows it just tacked up. I used 1x1 square and 1x2. Both 14 ga tubing. The 1x2 backrest looks corny. I had a vision in my head with it but it just didnt quite come out the way I wanted. Its good and solid thats for sure. Its at the powder coater now. |

Normally, I peel back the film and stick it on the inside and then attempt to cut out the patten. That hasnt worked out so well. The trick is to take the film, wet the OUTSIDE of the window, lay it on there (dont pull backing film off) and cut the edges to fit. While its on the outside, just peel the backing away from the film while keeping it soapy wet and then move to the inside glass, wet the window and film really good so you can move it around on the glass, once its where you want, start pushing water and air bubbles out. |
