If someone leaves you a voicemail that says to call if you have a gas weed eater, and you do not have one, do you call them back and say that you don't have one or do you follow the instructions in the voicemail?

I generally shoot them in the face.

They are only trying to borrow it or sell you something.

Oddly enough, I have never had anybody call me and leave me that message.

I'm not sure how I'd handle it.

Well do you, and what did you do?  If you can't figure this out....Shoot the phone. You clearly don't need it.

I don't like people touching my stuff.

Touch my stuff, and I'll kill yah.

I'm ignoring a voice mail like that unless it's from somebody I know that can't remember who they loaned the weed whacker to last fall.

In any case, I'm not calling back if I don't have their stuff.

It could go either way.

They might be waiting for an answer before trying to obtain a weed whacker elsewhere.

Yea, the wording is wrong but it's one of those things.

A relative wanted to borrow one.  I wouldn't have a problem letting them borrow one, if I actually owned one.

They just sent me a email asking why I hadn't responded to the voicemail, and they really needed to know the answer.

I responded that if they wanted an answer either way then they shouldn't of said to "call if I have one"

Sounds like a logic question.

I'd call them back and tell them no

if it was a random message from someone I don't know I'd just hit delete
