I have an A2 style front sight and it's in the way of my mini-acog. I priced flat-top gas blocks and with installation I'm looking at at least $120 at my smith. Since I already have a full-length rail and a flip-up front site, why not just dremel down the A2 front sight?

How far down can I dremel without hitting gas tubes? A pic of a dremel's a2 sight would be great. I don't want it to look like complete ass when I'm done.

I have a TA33 on mine and I can't even see the front sight through it unless I really try hard. What kind of mini are you using?
