Hello all! I'm a longtime lurker and occasional poster.  I just created a new account and my first post from this account will be a dinner pic:

http://bayimg.com/image/hakepaach.jpg
http://bayimg.com/image/iakeaaach.jpg
http://bayimg.com/image/iakebaach.jpg

Main course: sashimi-grade tuna steak (seared on cast iron with salt, pepper, olive oil)
Side: noodle stir fry (bell peppers and zucchini, with ginger, black pepper, and garlic)
Beverage: homebrew pale ale (hopped with cascades, approximately 5.5% ABV)
Desert: single portion of baked brie, prepared with dried sour cherries and fig preserves

standard crap: knife (and backup), fork, napkin

Firearms:
1) FN FAL (complete with happy switch) + reload
2) Short-barrel AR-15 (11.5" barrel) + reload (pmag with Hornady TAP) + Aimpoint CompM4
2a) YHM QD Phantom 556 Suppressor
3) Springfield 1911A1 + reload
4) Smith & Wesson M&Pc 9mm, holstered (not in photo)

Notes:
1) If you don't like the red tuna, then you can have yours from a can, I like it this way.
2) No stapler: plenty of other tools for punching holes in paper
3) No tape measure: you can use the barrels to gauge length.
4) No bread, since there are plenty of other carbs in the stir fry and beer.
5) I need a new DSLR.
6) Definitely needs Dillo Dust, but I ran out and haven't placed an order for more.  Since this was fresh homebrew from a tap, the Tactical Beverage Entry Tool was not present, but instead was keeping a lookout for intruders from a vantage point.
7) Could use more bacon.

Comments are welcome.

Your a new guy.  I guess you don't know the rules yet. Look around here and learn.  I like my tuna just a touch MORE rare. I got to give a 10 here. Homebrew, full auto FAL, a can on the AR. Dude, do you know you might have a long lost older son with that hottie you banged at your high school dance? Daddy? Is that you? Am I in your will yet? WJ

Your camera makes the tuna look a little odd, and it *is* a bit overcooked, but this may be the best first post ever!

11/10.

So, although the tuna is a bit on the dark side, the combination of lighting and a crappy camera make it look even more so.  As for being overcooked, it was less than 60 seconds per side on my cast iron.  Tasted great though.
