| I have a 1995 dodge dually with a Dana 80........would it be possible to convert it to single wheel....without changing the whole axle ...could I convert it by just adding new rims, tires, and wheel spacers ....has anybody done this or at least herd about doing this???........any info would by appreciated |

it could physically be done, however, the axles on a dually truck are 36.5 inches long, while the single rear wheel truck will be a 39" axle. You'd have to have a pretty serious spacer setup or some bigtime wheel offset to get the tires in the wheel well properly. can I ask what your inspiration is for this project? |
I know a place that has 30mm spacers....I think that should work.....are you 100% sure about the axle sizes..........I ust wanted a single wheel truck......I'm a little tired of the dually thats all |
I'm a parts mgr at a Chrysler dealer, and that's what the catalog says. If you're serious about doing this, you can IM me the last 9 digits of your VIN and I'll tell you exactly what your truck has |
