 The story says he was coming to the end of the runway and was headed for the  turn about 70mph. Mabye the pilot was thinking Indy car? So just for interest sake what are some of you pilots educated guesses on how and why this happened ?

I think the other thread stated it was faulty brakes and not the pilot's fault.

Wheels down too far down the runway, plus too heavy and too fast.

Rejected take off?  OSH's longest is 18/36 at about 8k.  That would cause brake failure on a rejected take off.
