QWERTY keyboards are the standard, for those that don't know. Look at the top row of keys starting from the left, and you'll see the Q, W, E, R, T, Y keys starting there, hence the name. Here be-ith a DVORAK layout:  It's not called Dvorak cause there's a line of keys spelling out DVORAK, it's named after the guy that invented it. Personally, I don't care about em. I can touch type fast as fuck on a standard keyboard due to muscle memory, I have no interest in learning how to type again. Cool office prank would be to get a Dvorak keyboard, pop all the keys out, and rearrange them in QWERTY configuration, and switch some schmuck's keyboard with the fake, and watch them go apeshit trying to figure out why their typing commands are coming out wrong. |
or, on a windows box, just change the keyboard layout to dvorak. or chinese. much more hilarity and less popping off of keys.
type on another keyboard, what else? multitasking ftw. |
