I am thinking of dropping AOL as my email I have had it for a very long time.  What are the best options for a new email address.  I currently use the iphone and outlook to access my mail but if I check my mail on my outlook the emails on my Iphone are gone.

I had written a reply with advice and opinions on services, but after contemplating your long term affiliation with that abortion of a company that is AOL I deleted it.

After you get rid of AOL, try getting rid of your victrola and your icebox. They make cd's and fridges that don't need the iceman.

Search in Outlook for the setting where you can check the box that says "leave a copy of emails on the server" and your problem won't happen any more.
