I emailed all of the NC state representatives yesterday to urge them to show support for HB 269 and HB 270 which will allow us to carry in state parks and restaurants that serve alcohol. Out of 17 reps that I emailed. I had one reply today in my work email inbox. Even if my voice was heard by one person it was worth it. This is my first response that I have ever received from a lawmaker.
Thank you for writing regarding House Bill 269 and House Bill 270. Please know that I support both of these Bills. I am aware of no cases in which a person authorized to carry a concealed fire arm has discharged that weapon in committing a crime. I will support both of these Bills. Again, thank you for writing.
