OK - first things first - fuck you, irresponsible pet owners. If you cannot care for your pet, give it up to a shelter. Do NOT dump your dog on my street and bail, forcing me to take care of it over night.
Fuck YOU and your stupid ass. Fuck YOU for shirking responsibility and being a little crying bitch. Your dog was happy-go-lucky when it came to my yard to see what I was doing. He was crying for you to come pick him up last night. By the way, animal control does not pick up strays after 5PM, so I got FUCKED out of a good night's sleep while I worried about your dog. He howled the entire time. My dog was put out too - she was so interested in our uninvited guest that she figured it would be wise to wake me up at 3am to do her morning routine. I DON'T GET UP AT 3AM YOU ASSHOLE. THIS IS YOUR FAULT THAT I'M IN A SHITTY MOOD. I even drove 20 miles to the shelter to try to drop him off in one of the anonymous drop boxes. Of course, fuck me, they were all filled up by 10PM! WTF ALL OF YOU IRRESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERS DUMPING YOUR ANIMALS LAST NIGHT! Well at least you gave it to the shelter, unlike the fucker who dumped his pet on my block for me to take care of last night. Your pet wanted to be with me and my girlfriend. He wanted to sleep inside, in the AC where he could be loved, fed, and nurtured. But he wanted HIS REAL OWNER, not me - that was evident when he FARTED IN THE CAR AND ALMOST MADE ME PUKE. WTF DID YOU FEED HIM? fuck you for that too. This morning, animal control came to my house and picked him up. I know you are so concerned and you spent all night looking for him. Don't worry, someone will adopt him. If not, he will be put down. Which is a damn shame, because he was very obedient, was polite in the car (besides the gross fart), and seemed to be very happy. If I find out that the dog got put down, then I will probably shed a silent tear for a wasted life of man's best friend. So, on behalf of my girlfriend, my dog and myself, I say

I took it in so that it could go to a shelter, which is a WIN for the dog. I have sympathy for animals that we domesticated and decide not to care for at a whim. |

Let it go so it can be hit by a car, or taken in by someone who wants to fight with it, or put into an abusive environment, or pick up heartworms because the mosquitoes here are so bad they carry you away? Nah, I'd rather lose one night's sleep and save a life, than sleep well and knowingly let it suffer. I'm mad because I lost a night's sleep due to someone else's lack of responsibility. I'd do it again if given the opportunity, but this time I want to catch the guy dropping the dog off. |
