re: the strike on the crowd in the street: (good video) (cool site) Those raising questions about the video really make me wonder. Why do so many people LOVE to HATE the US? Even citizens of the country!? Those who *automatically* assume that some kind of "war crime" has been committed by the "evil Americans" show their true colors when anything remotely questionable arises re: US mil in Iraq. Especially those that then take a step further and post their beliefs on a public board. Seems to be the "chic" thing to do for some... Anyway, it's my view that anyone who automatically assumes that this strike was "questionable" is either: 1. very naive about what goes on in war - the opponents kill each other on purpose, 2. very naive about the real threat to Western Civilization from *militant* Islam, 3. under the impression that, as stated earlier, it's "cool" to be anti-American right now, 4. a US military hating communist that is still pissed about the cold war, or are just plain idiots. How can anyone but an idiot be "pulling for" the side that wants them DEAD during a conflict? Rest assured my friends, if you are not a Muslim, then militant Islam - as their official stated policy for Christ's sake - wants you DEAD - you are an INFIDEL! If you are a US citizen that is showing your true colors by automatically questioning this, I would encourage you to ask yourself "why do I think this?". Our treatment of Iraqi's on the whole has been wonderful. Period. Talk to Iraqi's on the ground - not a news source - get someone there on the ground to talk to them. That's right - get someone you know to talk to an Iraqi in Iraq if you want the scoop. You "uber-liberals" will probably have a hard time doing this as it's a dangerous job that the US Military and coalition forces are doing over there. We all know that when the going gets tough, the tough get going and the libs dust off their protest signs..... Tate |
