I eat 3-4 oz of lean meat (pork loin or beef round steak) cooked for 6 minutes on a George Foreman grill, 15 almonds and a piece of fruit (I may start subbing instant oatmeal for the fruit because of it's supposed benefits for heart health).   This gives me a pretty good balance of healthy protein, fat and carbohydrates in an approximately 400-500 calorie breakfast.  I then eat a mid-morning snack of around 200 calories (right now it's a Zone Perfect bar but I'm looking for a convenient replacement).   This works really well for me because while the meat is grilling I can prepare and pack my lunch.

cold pizza....

oatmeal is great, so is fresh fruit (bananas, berries, etc.), eggs (unless you have cholesterol problems, I guess... I eat eggs all the time and have low cholesterol, but that may just be genetics).  Peanut butter on toast (protein, fat, carbohydrate).

wierd one, but it works (for me at least) steamed rice with a little honey and a banana

Finally:  just blow it off and get a good breakfast taco from the nearest mexi-roachcoach.

For oatmeal fans, you can do the low-glycemic-index steel-cut (Irish) oats in a small crock-pot.

Use a ratio of 1 part oats (by volume) to 3 parts water, put the pot on low, on a timer, for 3 hours of cooking time before you want to eat it and voila'! Good stuff!

2 Pieces of whole wheat bread with natural peanut butter and one bananna cut into 15 or so slices on top.  Sprinkle that with granola and wash it down with a protein shake.  Delicious.
