Ever use your hand gun for anything besides shooting?

ex.  hammer, paperweight, etc....

I used my Ruger to hammer off my seized brake pads once.  They were stubborn so I unloaded my magazine.

Funny you should bring this up. I was removing some fence wire yesterday, and one staple would not come out. So I snapped it with one shot from my Mak.

On that note, I worked with a guy would prune his trees with a 12 gauge! If and when I write my biography someday, there will be a whole chapter on this guy. he did more strange shit in the ten years I knew him then a hundred would do in their whole life.

I've used a 12 with birdshot to shoot the ice off the Bradford Pear trees to keep the branches from breaking.  Works like a charm.

I pistol whipped my liver a few nights ago.....oh wait, I did that with a bottle of wine
No, I typically use firearms to fire ammo, not hammer things.
I think I did use a pellet gun to prop up a window once when I was a kid...but I forget.

Bigbore has done everything a guy can do to his Glock 21, including using it as a hammer. Crazy.

My Glock 21 is strictly for shooting, but I have a Kimber that performs wonderfully as a paperweight (not so good as a gun, though)....

We were moving a herd of cattle accross a dry stretch of desert and they were tired, thirsty and in the afternoon my partner got down off his horse and and unloaded his pistol at the heels of the straglers to get them moving. Not one even broke into a trot

It's a good thing I don't care for Bradford Pears! If I did, the arborist in me would be crying.
