hp pavilion dv4000
ive got some ad-ware and spy-ware on board.
ive ran four different removal programs and none pick it up
any suggestions

i just ran spy sweeper and ad-aware and it picked up 35 objects.
but when i open my home page some porn site is there instead of msn.
do you have anymore suggestions?

Spybot S&D, HijackThis, and CCleaner might help.

ive ran spy-bot, ad-aware, spy sweeper, mcafee, xcleaner, hijackthis,defender, defender64, xblock, and avg.

all of them hit on something but the problem is still there.

What's your operating system? Are you using MS Internet Explorer? Have you tried FireFox?

Try using a special Hosts file.

If you already got rid of spyware then all you have to do is goto Tools -> Options and set revert your original home page.

I'd also get SpywareBlaster, as it is a very good preventative tool to use. I've been spyware-free for 4 years because of it.

Also get Firefox. Internet Explorer is OFN now.
