Yes DVI is better for LCD screens.
Why? Because digital is better than analog is everything else boy(So they say)

Just the opposte, you can see the scar lines better with DVI.

It's noticibly shaper, you'll have to just look at it side by side.

It has to do with the fact that LCDs are a digital output device, and the PC is a digital output device... so in order to use an analog cable you're converting digital to analog and then back to digital again.  On top of that conversion, the signal between the two conversions is subject to degradation and interference.

DVI allows for more information to be passed to the screen & doesn't degrade like an analog might.
