Quoted: Interesting, but looks to me like pretty crappy execution. The cloth flap to cover the hole for the bed, the rope pulls, the lack of any sort of sliders or rollers, etc. I could do better, and I'm by no means a professional. I like hidden rooms, passage ways and safe rooms and hidden gun vaults too. A good friend of mine can go from his second story bedroom to the hidden sub basement with out anyone seeing him, he had his house built by his Brother and incorporated all kinds of strange hidden stuff. He has a subbasement that doubles as his gun room and you'd never know it's there, 1000 sq ft of subbasement , I've only been there once and it was cool as hell. |

The use of wasted space in the attic was pretty clever. I'm still trying to think of a good way to put a hidden gun cabinet in the bedroom--maybe a wall-mounted headboard that drops down or something.
