I am doing the rippetoe workout, and when I do squats, I get a pain in my left testicle. I know it sounds funny ha, ha, but I am kind of concerned. I really dont wanna cause a hernia, and have to stop working out. any tips? |
| Get a partner and do some leg throwdowns. This will build up your lower abs. I had a simular issue when I used to max out. Weight belts can compensate for a weaker lower back and abs but provides no support for the lower abs. If you are not using a belt still go ahead and build your core up. |
I have a power rack, so I just stand up under the bar. I lower it until it hits the safety bars on both sides, then I stand up. I use kind of a wide stance. I try to keep my back straight but I might be leaning forward a little. lower ab work like leg lifts? |
There's a LOT more to squatting than just squatting and trying to keep your back straight. I'll come back to this. |
