just woke up after a full charge and 6 hours of sleep, and still had roughly 100% battery before I would have lost at least 5-10% battery life.
just spent an hour txting down 20%
still messing with push on gmail , i don't remember how it worked on 4 (only had it a few days). i don't think it worked that great on 5. we will see |

Quoted:
never had any issues with 5.0 I thought it was a GREAT improvement over 4.x been on 5.0.1 for a day now, and no noticeable difference. Although, I didn't have any battery issues with 5.0 I didn't have any problems with battery life on 4.x nor did I on 5.0. I have had 5.0.1 for a few days now and it doesn't "seem" any different than 5.0 so I have no complaints. I go 2 full days and most of the time 3 before recharging. My wife will go 1-1/2 to 2 days but she uses hers for phone, email and Angry Birds more than I do so that is understandably.

I always wait a few days. Word from the rest of the office says battery life is "better". My one book-reader app better not stop working like Stanza did with the 5.0 "upgrade". Note, you can extend battery life by shutting down apps. Double press the home button and it will show a list of running stuff across the bottom. Press and hold to get the "X", X them all out and the app closes. Open apps suck battery.
