Hey I just picked up an iPod touch. I downloaded a few free apps but dunno how to get them to show up on the iPod? I downloaded them and then sync'd my iPod thinking that'd do it, but it didn't. Is there something I'm missing?
I mean aren't the icons supposed to show up as buttons on the home screen? |
| I'm a new iPod Touch user too - so I'm not sure whether this has anything to do with your problem... I downloaded the Stanza e-book reader and then synced the iPod, but did not see the app at first - then it occurred to me that maybe the icon for the app was just sitting off-screen, so on the home page I "flicked" the screen to the left, and sure enough that revealed the Stanza icon that had been sitting offscreen... |

I still have 2 spots at the bottom for more buttons before I'd have to flick to the next page. Well assuming it fills one FULL page at a time with buttons for apps. That's the thing, sometimes it doesn't, if not, reformat your ipod through itunes and start all over again. |
